✍️ Guild Description

The Research Guild will organize multiple semi-independent research teams under Covalent branding (initially). These organizations will be run by exceptional Alchemists who are given the latitude to build and train their teams. All teams will focus on producing research content while also training other Alchemists.

At the moment Research Guild consists of a Research team (Alpha Alarm) and an Administrative team:

1. Research Team // Alpha Alarm - providing useful insights at a rapid pace as a testament to the power of Covalent

   a. Creating content for Twitter, Substack, Telegram, (in the future Medium and YouTube), including weekly content for newsletters
   
   b. Building educational content and mentor less experienced alchemists willing to learn about blockchain research and contribute
   

2. Administration Team - supporting Research Guild by handling external & internal communication, organizing research events, and managing social channels

🧐 Research Personnel, Tracks & Roles

There are 3 research-personnel categories and 2 administrative categories. However, each Guild member can represent several categories at once.

1. Researchers

Researchers are expected to fall into at least one of the following tracks:

• Onchain analysts - This is a place for Shadowy super coders and data analysts to show off their coding skills with an emphasis on Python and SQL to analyze on-chain data and develop state-of-the-art open-source tools
• Content creators - Blockchain Scholars with writing and visualization skills (with Power BI, Tableau, R, Excel or any other tool) to communicate research outputs on social media via Guild's projects (Twitter, Telegram, Substack, Medium, YouTube), let's go! We need your expertise in blockchain projects and decentralized applications (DeFi, NFTs…). Super bonus for being able to read and evaluate smart contracts (Solidity, Rust)
• Educators - Producing and grading high-quality educational content focused on blockchain research. Bonus for being active in Social Media channels and having an educational experience
